Provide mentorship

One of the cornerstones of coaching with High Desert Devo is that we provide mentorship to the youth of Montezuma County. This allows for experienced riders to pass along the knowledge and passion that we have of mountain biking and life onto the next generation to ensure that the stoke keeps on living!

Our Vision

Confidence, Compassion, and PERSEVERANCE, these are all essential life skills that are needed in today’s world. Learning these skills can be tough, but learning them through mountain biking can be fun! Riders learn that they can do hard things. Riders learn how to be compassionate toward themselves when we struggle. Riders learn to persevere through them learning how to do hard things like riding technical sections of trail.

FUN

What’s better than FUN…MORE FUN!! Our practices while they can be challenging are fun. Riders are with similar aged peers, some of the same ability level and some of different ability levels. Riders laugh, joke, share successes, share failures, and have fun together which makes rinding bikes more fun!
